Create a New Scenario to Connect Knack and PostgreSQL
In the workspace, click the βCreate New Scenarioβ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node β a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Knack, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Knack or PostgreSQL will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Knack or PostgreSQL, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.
Add the Knack Node
Select the Knack node from the app selection panel on the right.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Knack, PostgreSQL, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Knack and PostgreSQL integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Knack and PostgreSQL (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Knack + PostgreSQL + Google Sheets: When a new record is created in Knack, it is added to a PostgreSQL database. Data from the PostgreSQL database is then used to update rows in Google Sheets for reporting purposes.
PostgreSQL + Knack + Slack: When a row is updated in PostgreSQL, the corresponding record in Knack is updated. Then, a Slack message is sent to a channel to notify users of the changes.
