Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Lark, TimeCamp, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Lark and TimeCamp integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Lark and TimeCamp (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Lark and TimeCamp
Lark + TimeCamp + Google Calendar: When a new message containing billable hours information is posted in a Lark group chat, a new time entry is created in TimeCamp. Subsequently, a corresponding event is created in Google Calendar to block off that time.
TimeCamp + Lark + Jira: When a new time entry is created in TimeCamp, the automation checks if it represents overtime. If it does, it automatically creates a task in Jira and sends a notification to the employee in Lark to inform them of the Jira task.
