Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Linear, Amazon Redshift, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Linear and Amazon Redshift integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Linear and Amazon Redshift (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Linear and Amazon Redshift
Linear + Amazon Redshift + Slack: When a new issue is created in Linear, its details are inserted into an Amazon Redshift table. A daily summary of new Linear issues is then posted to a dedicated Slack channel.
Linear + Amazon Redshift + Google Sheets: When a Linear issue is updated, specifically when its resolution status changes, the issue's data, including resolution time, is updated in an Amazon Redshift table. This data is then used to update a Google Sheet, tracking issue resolution time trends.
