Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Linear, Missive, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Linear and Missive integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Linear and Missive (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Linear and Missive

Linear + Slack + Missive: When a new issue is created in Linear, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel to notify the team. This message includes details about the Linear issue. A Missive message is also created, alerting a specific team or individual about the newly created Linear issue.

Missive + Linear + Google Sheets: When a new contact is created in Missive, the information is used to find associated Linear issues. The details of the Linear issue and the Missive contact are then logged into a Google Sheet for tracking and reporting purposes. This allows for tracking resolution times based on Missive conversations.
