Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Linear, Trainerize, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Linear and Trainerize integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Linear and Trainerize (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Linear and Trainerize

Linear + Google Calendar + Trainerize: When a Linear issue is updated (specifically, when it's completed), an event is created in Google Calendar to schedule a follow-up session in Trainerize. This helps ensure timely communication and progress tracking.

Trainerize + Linear + Slack: When a client achieves a fitness goal in Trainerize, a celebration issue is created in Linear to acknowledge their achievement. A notification is also sent to the team in Slack to celebrate and provide support.
