Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Microsoft SQL Server and Vimeo integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Microsoft SQL Server and Vimeo (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Microsoft SQL Server and Vimeo
Vimeo + Microsoft SQL Server + Slack: When a new video is uploaded to Vimeo, the trigger initiates a search in SQL Server for associated video information using the video title or ID. The combined data is then used to post a message to a designated Slack channel, providing key details and a link to the video.
Vimeo + Microsoft SQL Server + Google Sheets: Tracks engagement for videos on Vimeo. When a new video is uploaded, associated metadata from SQL Server is fetched and saved into a Google Sheet. This includes details like the video title, upload date, and any relevant metadata stored in the database, which can be used for performance analysis in Google Sheets.
