Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Moco, Discourse, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Moco and Discourse integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Moco and Discourse (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Moco and Discourse

Moco + Discourse + Google Sheets: When a new event is recorded in Moco, a post is created in Discourse to update the team. The information about the event and the Discourse post is then logged in Google Sheets for reporting.

Discourse + Moco + Slack: When a new topic is created in Discourse, a new task is created in Moco. A message is then sent to a Slack channel to alert the team about the new task.
