Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Monster API, Pinecone, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Monster API and Pinecone integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Monster API and Pinecone (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Monster API and Pinecone

Monster API + Pinecone + Airtable: When a new monster is fetched via the Monster API, its data is stored as a vector in Pinecone. The monster's details are then synchronized to Airtable for easy browsing and management.

Discord bot + Pinecone + Monster API: A Discord bot listens for specific commands in a channel. Upon receiving a command, it searches Pinecone for monster stats. If found, the stats are retrieved and the Discord bot responds to the user with the monster's information fetched via the Monster API.
