After configuring Motion, Cloudinary, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Motion and Cloudinary integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Motion and Cloudinary (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Motion + Cloudinary + Slack: When Motion detects a task event (e.g., a meeting recording is available), the recording is automatically uploaded to Cloudinary. Once uploaded, a message containing the Cloudinary link is sent to a designated Slack channel.
Motion + Cloudinary + Google Drive: When a Motion task event occurs, Cloudinary transforms the resource (optimizes it) and then uploads the optimized video asset to a specific folder in Google Drive.
