How to connect Motion and OpenAI DALL-E
Create a New Scenario to Connect Motion and OpenAI DALL-E
In the workspace, click the βCreate New Scenarioβ button.

Add the First Step
Add the first node β a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Motion, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Motion or OpenAI DALL-E will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Motion or OpenAI DALL-E, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Add the Motion Node
Select the Motion node from the app selection panel on the right.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Motion, OpenAI DALL-E, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Motion and OpenAI DALL-E integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Motion and OpenAI DALL-E (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Motion and OpenAI DALL-E
Motion + OpenAI DALL-E + Slack: When a task event occurs in Motion, use a predefined prompt related to the task details to generate an image with DALL-E (this action is unavailable, thus excluded). Post the task event details with a placeholder for the image in a Slack channel for collaborative feedback.
Discord bot + Motion + OpenAI DALL-E: When a new message is posted in a Discord channel, use the message content to create a task in Motion (note: unavailable action to generate images from DALL-E based on message content, thus excluded). This will allow the creation and tracking of tasks directly from Discord.
