Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Motion, Outscraper, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Motion and Outscraper integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Motion and Outscraper (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Motion and Outscraper
Outscraper + Motion + Google Calendar: When Outscraper finds new restaurants based on a search query, a task is created in Motion to schedule a visit. Upon task completion in Motion, an event is created in Google Calendar to log the visit.
Outscraper + Motion + Slack: Outscraper scrapes leads based on predefined criteria. A new task is created in Motion to manage outreach to these leads. Slack sends a notification to a designated channel informing the team about the new lead and the created task in Motion.
