Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Motion, Soax, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Motion and Soax integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Motion and Soax (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Motion and Soax

Motion + Soax + Slack: When motion is detected by Motion, Soax rotates the IP for security. Slack then sends a message to the security team alerting them of the detected motion.

Soax + Motion + Telegram: Soax provides an anonymous IP. Motion detects motion using this IP. Telegram then shares alerts of the motion detection events to a specified channel.
