Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Moxie and Open Weather integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Moxie and Open Weather (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Moxie and Open Weather

Google Calendar + Open Weather + Google Calendar: When a new event is created or modified in Google Calendar, the automation fetches the weather forecast for the event's date. If the forecast predicts favorable weather, the event details are updated to reflect an 'outdoor activity' confirmation; otherwise, a warning is added to the event's description.

Open Weather + Moxie + Slack: When the current weather conditions from Open Weather meet specific criteria (e.g., severe weather warnings), the automation searches for relevant contacts in Moxie and sends an alert via Slack about the weather changes, ensuring that users are promptly notified of any potential safety risks.
