Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring MySQL, Recruitee, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the MySQL and Recruitee integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between MySQL and Recruitee (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect MySQL and Recruitee

Recruitee + MySQL + Slack: When a new candidate applies through Recruitee, their data is inserted into a MySQL database. Subsequently, a notification is sent to the hiring team's Slack channel to alert them about the new applicant.

Recruitee + MySQL + Google Sheets: When a new candidate applies via Recruitee, their data is backed up to a MySQL database. Key candidate information is then logged in Google Sheets for HR reporting purposes.
