Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Netlify, OpenPhone, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Netlify and OpenPhone integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Netlify and OpenPhone (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Netlify and OpenPhone
Netlify + Slack + OpenPhone: When a new Netlify deploy succeeds, a Slack message is sent to a designated channel. The message includes a link or information that allows team members to quickly contact the development team via OpenPhone, if needed.
OpenPhone + Netlify + Google Sheets: When a call event is detected in OpenPhone that contains keywords related to a Netlify website issue, the details of the call (e.g., caller, timestamp, summary) are logged as a new row in a Google Sheet for tracking and analysis.
