Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Notion, Captions, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Notion and Captions integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Notion and Captions (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Notion and Captions

Captions + Notion + Slack: When a new video caption is generated in Captions, a new page is created in Notion to store the caption text. A notification is then sent to a designated Slack channel to inform the team about the new caption.

Captions + Google Drive + Notion: When video captions are generated in Captions, they are stored as a text file in Google Drive. The Google Drive file link, along with the caption text, is then used to update a database in Notion.
