Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Open Weather and Recraft integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Open Weather and Recraft (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Open Weather and Recraft

Open Weather + Recraft + Google Sheets: This automation retrieves the current weather forecast for a specified location using Open Weather. Based on this forecast, Recraft generates an image. The details of the weather forecast and Recraft API usage (like prompt and cost) are then logged into a Google Sheet for tracking weather-dependent art generation costs.

Open Weather + Recraft + Slack: The automation monitors weather conditions in a specific location using Open Weather. If extreme weather is detected based on predefined thresholds, Recraft generates an image based on the weather description. A Slack message is sent to a designated channel, alerting designers about potential impacts on image generation due to the weather conditions.
