Create a New Scenario to Connect OpenPhone and Google Calendar
In the workspace, click the โCreate New Scenarioโ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node โ a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a OpenPhone, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, OpenPhone or Google Calendar will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find OpenPhone or Google Calendar, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Configure the OpenPhone
Click on the OpenPhone node to configure it. You can modify the OpenPhone URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.

Next, click the plus (+) icon on the OpenPhone node, select Google Calendar from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Google Calendar.

Authenticate Google Calendar
Now, click the Google Calendar node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Google Calendar settings. Authentication allows you to use Google Calendar through Latenode.

Next, configure the nodes by filling in the required parameters according to your logic. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring OpenPhone, Google Calendar, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the OpenPhone and Google Calendar integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between OpenPhone and Google Calendar (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
OpenPhone + Google Calendar + Slack: When a call is missed in OpenPhone (identified by the event from calls trigger), a follow-up task is created in Google Calendar. The assigned agent is then notified via Slack with the task details.
Google Calendar + OpenPhone + Zoom: When a Zoom meeting is scheduled in Google Calendar, the meeting link is sent via OpenPhone as a reminder to participants. The automation is triggered when a new event is created or modified in Google Calendar.
