After configuring PagerDuty, FreeAgent, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the PagerDuty and FreeAgent integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between PagerDuty and FreeAgent (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect PagerDuty and FreeAgent
PagerDuty + Slack + FreeAgent: When a new high-priority incident is created in PagerDuty, a notification is sent to the finance team in Slack. This allows them to anticipate and prepare for potential unplanned expenses in FreeAgent.
PagerDuty + FreeAgent + Google Sheets: When a new incident is created or updated in PagerDuty, a new row is added to a Google Sheet. This row logs any FreeAgent expenses related to the PagerDuty incident, enabling budget tracking and analysis.
