Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Pinecone, Slack, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the Pinecone and Slack integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Pinecone and Slack (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Pinecone and Slack

Pinecone + Google Sheets + Slack: When a vector search is performed in Pinecone using text, log the search query and the returned vectors' IDs and scores into a Google Sheet. Then, send a Slack message to a designated channel to notify the team about the search and its results.

Slack + Pinecone + Jira: When a new message is posted in a Slack channel, search Pinecone using the message text. If the search returns no relevant results (based on a score threshold), create a Jira issue for documentation to improve the knowledge base.
