Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Pushover, Slack, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Pushover and Slack integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Pushover and Slack (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Pushover and Slack
Pushover + Google Sheets + Slack: When a new Pushover notification is received, the details are added to a new row in a Google Sheet and a message is sent to a specified Slack channel.
Slack + Pushover + PagerDuty: When a new message is posted to a specific Slack channel, and it contains certain keywords indicating high priority, a Pushover notification is sent. If the message isn't acknowledged (hypothetically by checking for a follow-up message or reaction - action unavailable) within a timeframe, a PagerDuty incident is triggered.
