Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Render, CloudTalk, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the Render and CloudTalk integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Render and CloudTalk (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Render and CloudTalk

CloudTalk + Slack + Render: When a new call arrives in CloudTalk, the flow checks if the call volume is unusually high (this will need to be implemented as custom javascript code). If it is, a notification is sent to a designated Slack channel, and a Render deploy is triggered to scale up resources.

CloudTalk + Render + Google Sheets: When a new call arrives in CloudTalk, the call details are logged in a Google Sheet. If the activity associated with the call contains specific keywords (e.g., "critical error"), a Render deploy is triggered. The Sheet is also updated to reflect the deployment status.
