Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Render, Simplesat, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Render and Simplesat integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Render and Simplesat (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Render and Simplesat

Render + Simplesat + Slack: When a new deployment is triggered on Render, a satisfaction survey is sent via Simplesat. The survey results are then summarized and sent to a designated Slack channel.

Simplesat + Render + Jira: When negative feedback is received through Simplesat, a bug ticket is automatically created in Jira. The Jira ticket includes a link to the relevant Render deployment for easier debugging and resolution.
