Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Render, TimeCamp, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Render and TimeCamp integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Render and TimeCamp (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Render and TimeCamp

Render + TimeCamp + Slack: When a Render deployment completes, the automation creates a time entry in TimeCamp to track the deployment time. Afterwards, a message is sent to a Slack channel to notify the team about the completed deployment and the recorded time.

TimeCamp + Render + Google Sheets: This automation tracks project hours in TimeCamp. When the tracked hours for a specific project exceed a predefined limit, the automation triggers a Render deployment and records the event in a Google Sheet.
