Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Rss.app, Tools, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Rss.app and Tools integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Rss.app and Tools (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Rss.app and Tools

Rss.app + Tools + Slack: This automation monitors new RSS feed items. When a new item is found, it checks for specific keywords using the Tools app (presumably through storage or logic implemented in the workflow). If the keywords are present, a notification is sent to a designated Slack channel to alert users.

Rss.app + Tools + Google Sheets: This automation retrieves data from RSS feeds. It then uses Tools app features to format or transform the retrieved data as needed. Finally, the formatted data is appended as a new row to a Google Sheet, allowing for archival and analysis of RSS feed data over time.
