Create a New Scenario to Connect Salesmate and Campaign Monitor
In the workspace, click the “Create New Scenario” button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node – a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Salesmate, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Salesmate or Campaign Monitor will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Salesmate or Campaign Monitor, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.
Add the Salesmate Node
Select the Salesmate node from the app selection panel on the right.

Configure the Salesmate
Click on the Salesmate node to configure it. You can modify the Salesmate URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.
Add the Campaign Monitor Node
Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Salesmate node, select Campaign Monitor from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Campaign Monitor.

Authenticate Campaign Monitor
Now, click the Campaign Monitor node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Campaign Monitor settings. Authentication allows you to use Campaign Monitor through Latenode.

Next, configure the nodes by filling in the required parameters according to your logic. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Salesmate, Campaign Monitor, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Salesmate and Campaign Monitor integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Salesmate and Campaign Monitor (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Campaign Monitor + Salesmate + Google Sheets: When a new subscriber is added to a list in Campaign Monitor, their information is used to search for a corresponding contact in Salesmate. If a contact is found, relevant campaign engagement data (e.g., opens, clicks) is added to a specific row in Google Sheets. If no contact found, it will create the contact first and update the row in Google Sheets.
Campaign Monitor + Salesmate + Slack: When a subscriber clicks a link in a Campaign Monitor email, the system searches for the corresponding contact in Salesmate using the subscriber's email. If the contact is found, a notification is sent to a specified Slack channel alerting the sales team about the lead's engagement.
