Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring SendFox, PagerDuty, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the SendFox and PagerDuty integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between SendFox and PagerDuty (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect SendFox and PagerDuty

SendFox + PagerDuty + Slack: When a new unsubscribe event occurs in SendFox, indicating a potential issue with a campaign, an incident is triggered in PagerDuty. PagerDuty then sends a notification to a designated Slack channel to alert the team.

PagerDuty + SendFox + Twilio: When a PagerDuty incident is resolved, a follow-up SMS message is sent via Twilio to contacts in a SendFox list to notify affected users. This assumes the SendFox list contains users impacted by the incident and their phone numbers are stored as custom fields.
