Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Sendgrid, Github, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Sendgrid and Github integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Sendgrid and Github (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Sendgrid + Github + Slack: When a Sendgrid email fails to send (bounces, blocks, etc.), a Github issue is created to track the problem. A Slack message is then sent to a designated channel to alert the team about the failed email and the created Github issue.
Github + Sendgrid + Google Sheets: Track Github issue resolution times. When a Github issue is updated (e.g., closed), the issue details and resolution time are calculated and added to a Google Sheet. A summary email of resolved issues is then sent via Sendgrid.
