Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Sendgrid, TimeCamp, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the Sendgrid and TimeCamp integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Sendgrid and TimeCamp (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Sendgrid and TimeCamp

Sendgrid + TimeCamp + Google Sheets: When a new time entry is created in TimeCamp, the workflow searches Google Sheets for campaign data related to the task. If found, it adds the email send data from Sendgrid to the Google Sheet to correlate campaign metrics with time spent.

TimeCamp + Sendgrid + Slack: When a new time entry is created in TimeCamp, the workflow checks if billable time exceeds a set threshold. If it does, an email is sent via Sendgrid and a notification is sent to project managers via Slack.
