Integration of Sendinblue and Google Calendar

Are you looking to take your event marketing to the next level by seamlessly integrating Sendinblue, your trusted email marketing platform, with Google Calendar? With Latenode's flexible low-code automation platform, you can easily set up a powerful integration between Sendinblue and Google Calendar, allowing you to automate your event promotion, registration, and follow-up processes.

Why Integrate Sendinblue and Google Calendar?

Sendinblue is a comprehensive email marketing and automation platform that enables businesses to create, send, and track engaging email campaigns. Many event organizers rely on Sendinblue to promote their events, manage registrations, and communicate with attendees.

Google Calendar, on the other hand, is the world's most popular calendar application, used by millions of individuals and businesses to manage their schedules, appointments, and events.

By integrating these two platforms, you can:

  1. Automatically add new Sendinblue contacts who register for your events to a designated Google Calendar, making it easy to track event attendance and plan logistics.
  2. Send personalized email reminders and follow-ups to event registrants based on their Google Calendar event status (e.g., "Going", "Maybe", or "Not Going").
  3. Sync event updates and cancellations between Google Calendar and Sendinblue, ensuring that your attendees always have the most up-to-date information.

Step-by-Step Integration with Latenode

Here's how you can set up an integration between Sendinblue and Google Calendar using Latenode:

  1. Create a Latenode account: If you haven't already, sign up for a Latenode account at latenode.com. Latenode offers a flexible, time-based pricing model that's perfect for event-driven integrations like this.
  2. Connect your Sendinblue and Google Calendar accounts: In your Latenode dashboard, add your Sendinblue account as a new connection, providing your Sendinblue API key. Then, add your Google Calendar account as another connection, granting Latenode the necessary permissions to access your calendar events.
  3. Create a new automation: Click "Create New Scenario" and give it a name like "Sendinblue-Google Calendar Integration."
  1. Set up your trigger: For this example, let's set up your automation to run whenever a new contact is added to a specific Sendinblue list (e.g., an "Event Registrants" list). Select "Sendinblue" as your trigger app, choose your target list, and select the "Contact Added" event.
  1. Create a new Google Calendar event: Add a Google Calendar action to create a new event for the registered contact. You can map the relevant contact fields from Sendinblue (e.g., name, email, registration date) to the corresponding event fields in Google Calendar (e.g., title, description, attendees).
  1. Send a confirmation email: Add a Sendinblue action to send a personalized confirmation email to the new event registrant, including a link to their newly created Google Calendar event.
  2. Set up event update and cancellation triggers: Create additional automations to handle event updates and cancellations. For example, you can set up a trigger to run whenever an event is updated in Google Calendar, and use Latenode's Sendinblue actions to send an update email to the affected attendees.
  3. Test and deploy: Run a test of your automations to ensure everything is working as expected. If all looks good, deploy your automations and watch as your event registrations in Sendinblue automatically sync with Google Calendar, and your attendees receive timely, personalized email communications.

With Latenode's intuitive automation platform, you can set up a custom integration between Sendinblue and Google Calendar in just a few minutes, without writing any complex API code or scripts. And thanks to Latenode's time-based pricing, you can run these automations as frequently as needed without worrying about high costs.

By integrating Sendinblue with Google Calendar using Latenode, you can create a more streamlined, automated, and personalized event marketing experience that delights your attendees and saves you time and effort. Try setting up this integration today and see how it can help you fill more seats and grow your events!

FAQ

Can I integrate other Sendinblue events with Google Calendar, such as contact unsubscribes or email opens?

Yes! With Latenode, you can create separate automations for each type of Sendinblue event you want to integrate with Google Calendar. For example, you could set up an automation to remove a contact from a Google Calendar event if they unsubscribe from your Sendinblue list.

How can I customize the email templates used in this integration?

Latenode allows you to use your existing Sendinblue email templates or create new ones directly in the Latenode interface. You can use Sendinblue's drag-and-drop email builder or HTML editor to design your templates, and then select them when setting up your Latenode automation actions.

Is it possible to sync attendee responses from Google Calendar back to Sendinblue?

Absolutely! You can set up a Latenode automation that triggers whenever an attendee updates their response status (e.g., from "Going" to "Not Going") in Google Calendar. The automation can then use Latenode's Sendinblue actions to update the corresponding contact's custom fields or tags in Sendinblue, allowing you to track attendee engagement and plan accordingly.

How much will this integration cost to run on Latenode?

Latenode's time-based pricing means you only pay for the actual compute time used by your automations. In most cases, processing a new event registration and syncing it to Google Calendar will take just a few seconds per run, meaning you can handle hundreds of registrations per month for just a few credits. Latenode's transparent pricing calculator lets you estimate your costs based on your expected usage.

"Limitless automation integrations no matter what your use case. The AI javascript code generator node is a life saver, if you get to a pont in the automation the a tool or node is not yet created to interact with latenode, the AI node can make the interaction have by writing the code thats needed for the interaction with the specific tool, just describe what you need and the AI will make it happen, the more detailed explanation you give the best response you will get."

"My new best kept secret! My favorite things about LateNode are the user interface and the code editor. Trust me, being able to write "some" of your own code makes a huge difference when you're trying to build automations quickly. It took me less than half the time and less frustration, to build an automation I tried to build in Make and n8n. Honestly, the code editor and the user interface are the best parts of using LateNode. If you want to build automations fast, write some of your own code. I tried building the same automation in Make and n8n and it took twice as long and was a lot more frustrating"

Latenode is a cheaper but powerful alternative to the usual AI automation tools. It’s easy to use, even for beginners, thanks to its simple and intuitive interface. I only know the basics of Java, C++, and C, so when I saw the JavaScript option, I felt a bit nervous. Thankfully, the AI Copilot made everything much easier by guiding me step by step. I’ve spent weeks learning about Latenode on YouTube because it really caught my interest. Compared to other AI tools, I think this one is the better choice. Although Latenode is still new and in development, it has great potential to become the best tool on the market in the future.

What I liked most about Latenode compared to the competition is that I did have the ability to write code and create custom nodes. Most other platforms are strictly no-code, which for me really limited what I could create with my scenarios. I also liked the AI function to assist with writing code. It has been years since I wrote anything besides a simple script, so it was good to have some assistance within the platform when needed.

AI Nodes are amazing. You can use it without having API keys, it uses Latenode credit to call the AI models which makes it super easy to use. - Latenode custom GPT is very helpful especially with node configuration

Best low code tool on market!! I am just starting my journey deeper but for time now this tool is excellent and it is far most better then make.com. I especially like the ease of use and the fact that for Google services, there's no need to manually go to the API or the Google console to look for the Client ID and similar things. For now evertyhing is perfectly fitted to my needs

Affordable Automation with Robust Features – I've been using Latenode for over a month now, and I already prefer it over more popular options like Zapier, Pabbly, or Make. The biggest advantage of Latenode is its significantly lower automation costs, all while maintaining the same robust features. The only downside is the limited integrations, but that's understandable given that it's a newer player in the market. Overall, Latenode offers excellent value and has quickly become my go-to for automation needs. Significantly lower automation costs compared to Zapier, Pabbly, and Make Maintains the same robust features as more popular platforms Excellent value for money. Limited integrations due to being a newer player in the market

Latenode and their support team have been great and responsive in providing my team with support in creating a workflow where our data from Google Sheet Form Submissions will take the users that submitted the form and then use our OpenAI API to create newsletters to send to them. Latenode's price point and use of credits through execution time allows it to be a cheaper alternative to Zapier or Make. Drag and drop modules give it a familiar experience when compared to its competitors and get the same job done at a cost-effective price.

You must try it! πŸ”₯ I've been blown away by Latenode's ease of use and affordability. As someone who's currently testing it out, I can honestly say it's exceeded my expectations at every turn. The platform itself is incredibly intuitive. They've struck a perfect balance between no-code and low-code functionality, making it accessible for beginners but powerful enough for complex automations. The best part? During my testing phase, I haven't encountered a single error. Everything has run smoothly and exactly as intended. Latenode is a game-changer for anyone looking to streamline their workflows without breaking the bank. It's a must-try for anyone looking to boost their productivity.

Finally found what I was looking for...Even before seeing what was under the hood and meeting face to face with Daniel (CMO), I was already impressed with the business model compared to the others. As someone who's been marketing software products for over 2 decades, and a user of all things automation (to some extent or another) such as Zapier, Pabbly, n8n, and Active Pieces; I felt compelled to go right for a partnership deal with these guys. It was kind of a no-brainer. Looking forward to building some incredible automations for businesses around the world with this team.

Latenode is a powerful automation tool. Zapier is a powerful automation tool that can help businesses of all sizes save time and money. It's easy to use, even for those with no coding experience, and it can connect hundreds of different apps and services. However, it can be expensive for some users, and it can be difficult to troubleshoot when things go wrong. The best part of the application is that it is a cheaper system compared to other platforms πŸ”₯

Latenode is an extremely impressive product! Latenode's support for custom code has allowed us to tailor automation solutions precisely to our (and our clients) needs. The platform is super flexible and we are very excited to see what other non-typical use cases we can implement using their product. Support is very helpful and it's nice to know that we have a whole community to lean on.

I honestly love how Latenode has approached automation. The "low-code" approach is perfect for my needs. I'm not a developer, but with the help of their AI helper I can get cool stuff done very quickly! For most of the time, the beautiful drag-n-drop canvas gets the job done very efficiently. I also love their method of creating your own "connectors" using nodules. Makes it very easy to re-use custom connection nodes in other scenarios. The pricing also makes a lot of sense if you're doing "less" but "longer running" processes.

Latenode is a hidden gem! If you use Zapier for automation, check this out. Super similar features but way, WAY more affordable. The free plan is generous, and it's easy to set up workflows even if you're not tech-savvy. Perfect for small businesses or anyone wanting to simplify their life with automation on a budget. Highly recommend!
