Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring ServiceM8, Figma, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the ServiceM8 and Figma integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between ServiceM8 and Figma (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect ServiceM8 and Figma

ServiceM8 + Figma + Slack: When a job is completed in ServiceM8, the automation retrieves a list of files from a specified Figma project and sends a message to a dedicated Slack channel, including the file names for team review.

Figma + ServiceM8 + Google Sheets: This flow monitors new comments added to Figma files. When a new comment is detected, the automation creates a new row in Google Sheets to track design asset usage and links it to a ServiceM8 job (if relevant via lookup). The job detail is stored in the Sheet.
