After configuring Shippo, Github, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Shippo and Github integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Shippo and Github (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Shippo + Github + Slack: When a new shipping label is created in Shippo, indicating a potential shipping issue, a Github issue is automatically created to track the problem. A notification is then sent to a designated Slack channel to alert the team.
Github + Shippo + Google Sheets: When a new release is created in Github, a new order is created in Shippo to handle the merchandise. The order details are then logged into a Google Sheet for tracking and analysis.
