Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Shippo, Google docs, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Shippo and Google docs integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Shippo and Google docs (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Shippo and Google docs

Shippo + Google Sheets + Google Docs: When a new shipping label is created in Shippo, the details are added as a new row in Google Sheets. A weekly Google Docs report is then generated from the data in Google Sheets.

Google Docs + Shippo + Slack: When a new document is created in a specified Google Docs folder, it is checked for addresses. If valid addresses are found using Shippo, a notification is sent to the logistics team in Slack.
