Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, Deepgram, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Deepgram integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Deepgram (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Deepgram

Slack + Deepgram + OpenAI ChatGPT: When a new message is posted to a Slack channel, if the message contains a voice recording file, Deepgram transcribes the audio file from the URL. Then, OpenAI ChatGPT summarizes the transcription, and the summary is sent back to the Slack channel.

Slack + Deepgram + Google Docs: When a new file is added to Slack, Deepgram transcribes the audio file from the URL. Then, the transcript is appended to a Google Docs document.
