Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, Figma, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Figma integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Figma (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Figma

Slack + Figma + Google Drive: When a new file is added to a specific Slack channel, find related files in Figma using keywords from the Slack message. Then, create a folder in Google Drive and upload the Figma files to that folder, archiving the Slack discussion and relevant design files.

Figma + Jira + Slack: When a file version is updated in Figma, create a new Jira issue with a link to the Figma file. Then, send a message to a Slack channel to notify the team about the new design update and the Jira issue created.
