Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Giphy integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Giphy (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Giphy

Slack + Giphy + Google Sheets: When a new message is posted to a Slack channel, the flow checks if it contains a GIF. If it does, it logs the GIF URL, the user who posted it, and the timestamp to a Google Sheet for content analysis.

Slack + Giphy + X (Twitter): When a new message is posted to a Slack channel containing a specific hashtag, the flow searches Giphy for a relevant GIF. It then automatically tweets the popular GIF on Twitter (X) with the same hashtag.
