Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, Podio, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Podio integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Podio (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Podio

Slack + Podio + Google Sheets: When a new support request is created in a Slack channel, a new item is created in Podio to track it. Subsequently, key details like the number of open requests are logged in a Google Sheet for reporting.

Podio + Slack + Zoom: When a Podio project reaches a specific stage (e.g., 'Ready for Demo'), a Zoom meeting is automatically scheduled. A message is then sent to a Slack channel containing the Zoom meeting details for all relevant team members.
