Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, Systeme IO, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Systeme IO integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Systeme IO (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Systeme IO

Slack + Systeme IO + Google Sheets: When a new message is posted in a Slack channel, the automation extracts email addresses and creates a contact in Systeme IO. The contact's information is then logged in a Google Sheet.

Systeme IO + Slack + Zoom: When someone makes a purchase (detected through New Events in Systeme IO), a welcome message is sent on Slack to the customer. A Zoom meeting is then automatically created and the customer is added as a registrant.
