How to connect Slack and Tamtam
Create a New Scenario to Connect Slack and Tamtam
In the workspace, click the “Create New Scenario” button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node – a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Slack, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Slack or Tamtam will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Slack or Tamtam, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Slack node, select Tamtam from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Tamtam.

Authenticate Tamtam
Now, click the Tamtam node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Tamtam settings. Authentication allows you to use Tamtam through Latenode.
Configure the Slack and Tamtam Nodes
Next, configure the nodes by filling in the required parameters according to your logic. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Slack, Tamtam, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Tamtam integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Tamtam (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Tamtam
Slack + Tamtam + Google Sheets: When a new file is shared in either Slack or Tamtam, the file information (name, URL, sharer) is added as a new row in a Google Sheet. This creates a centralized archive of shared files from both platforms.
Slack + Tamtam + Twilio: Periodically, the flow lists users in both Slack and Tamtam. If a user hasn't posted a message recently (determined by a threshold), an SMS message is sent via Twilio to remind them to check for urgent messages. Since there is no trigger that does this, this use case is based on scheduled executions.
