Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Smartsheet, Google Drive, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Smartsheet and Google Drive integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Smartsheet and Google Drive (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Smartsheet and Google Drive

Smartsheet + Google Drive + Slack: When a Smartsheet project is completed (detected by a new event), archive the relevant project files from Smartsheet to a specified folder in Google Drive. Then, notify the team in a Slack channel about the archiving, including a link to the Google Drive folder.

Smartsheet + Google Drive + Google Sheets: When a new event occurs in Smartsheet (indicating a completed report), the report is stored in Google Drive. Then, key data is logged to a Google Sheet for tracking and analysis.
