Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring SOS Inventory, Render, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the SOS Inventory and Render integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between SOS Inventory and Render (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect SOS Inventory and Render

SOS Inventory + Slack + Render: When inventory levels are low, as indicated by a new Sales Order in SOS Inventory, a Slack message is sent to notify the team. This message then triggers a deployment on Render to update the product catalog.

Github + SOS Inventory + Render: Each new commit in Github triggers a deployment in Render. The successful completion of the Render deployment then creates a new shipment record in SOS Inventory to track the updated version.
