How to connect SpaceX and Trainerize

Create a New Scenario to Connect SpaceX and Trainerize

In the workspace, click the β€œCreate New Scenario” button.

Add the First Step

Add the first node – a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a SpaceX, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, SpaceX or Trainerize will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find SpaceX or Trainerize, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Add the SpaceX Node

Select the SpaceX node from the app selection panel on the right.

Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring SpaceX, Trainerize, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the SpaceX and Trainerize integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between SpaceX and Trainerize (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect SpaceX and Trainerize

SpaceX + Trainerize + Google Sheets: When a new SpaceX launch occurs, the automation retrieves crew member data and uses Trainerize to find matching client profiles. It then logs astronaut fitness goals and achieved metrics in a Google Sheet for progress analysis.

SpaceX + Trainerize + Slack: When a new SpaceX launch occurs, the automation retrieves data about the mission's crew. It then uses Trainerize to find associated trainer profiles. Finally, it sends a Slack message alerting the trainers about peak performance times based on mission data for optimizing training.
