How to connect SpaceX and Twitch

Create a New Scenario to Connect SpaceX and Twitch

In the workspace, click the β€œCreate New Scenario” button.

Add the First Step

Add the first node – a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a SpaceX, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, SpaceX or Twitch will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find SpaceX or Twitch, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Add the SpaceX Node

Select the SpaceX node from the app selection panel on the right.

Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring SpaceX, Twitch, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the SpaceX and Twitch integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between SpaceX and Twitch (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect SpaceX and Twitch

SpaceX + Twitch + Discord bot: When a new SpaceX launch is announced (using 'New Launch' trigger), check Twitch for live streams containing 'SpaceX' in their title or description using the 'Get Streams' action. If a relevant stream is found, post a message to a specified Discord channel, alerting users to the live stream.

Twitch + SpaceX + X (Twitter): When a new Twitch video is uploaded using the 'Get Videos' action, check if the video's title or description mentions 'SpaceX'. If it does, tweet a message using the 'Create Post' action containing the Twitch video link.
