Keeping your Twitter active can be exhausting - especially when you're working on a million other things. Here's the good news: you can set up a system that tweets for you every single day. This guide shows you how to use ChatGPT and Latenode together to create tweets automatically. Think of it as hiring a virtual assistant who never takes a day off!
Can You Really Automate Tweets with ChatGPT?
Absolutely! With Latenode as your automation tool, you can build a system that creates and posts fresh tweets daily.
Here's the simple version: ChatGPT writes the tweets, and Latenode posts them to X/Twitter - all while you're doing literally anything else. No more copying and pasting from ChatGPT or scheduling posts manually.
Every day at your chosen time, your automation wakes up, asks ChatGPT to write a tweet based on your instructions, then posts it to your Twitter profile. It's like setting your coffee maker to brew automatically - except it's for your social media!
The Simple Workflow
Start: Your scheduled timer goes off.
Create: ChatGPT writes a tweet following your style through the node called AI GPT Router.
Post: The tweet goes live on Twitter automatically.
Let's Build Your Tweet Automation!
Ready to set this up? Follow these steps:
1. Create an Automation
Once you're in your Latenode account, you'll need to click on 'Create New scenario'. After that, give your automation a name - you could pick something a bit fun, like “Sheet Syncer 🚀”, or any name that works best for you.
Make It Yours
Now let's personalize your automation:
(1) Set Your Posting Schedule
Click on the "Schedule" node in your workflow.
Choose when you want to tweet - daily, twice a day, or at a specific hour only. If you're feeling adventurous, you can use cron expressions (basically a fancy way to set very specific times). We’ve set it up to 10 AM.
Save your timing preferences to match when your audience is most active.
(2) Tell ChatGPT What to Write
Open the AI GPT Router node called ‘Generate a Tweet”. No API keys or any account credentials needed!
Pick your model. You can select from 100+ models, or stay with the default pick - OpenAI GPT 4.1-nano.
Write your prompt. This tells ChatGPT what kind of tweets to create. Want funny observations? Industry tips? Motivational quotes? Just describe it here to match your brand's voice. You can also turn on the web search, so the model can take the facts from the Internet.
Test it out to see a sample tweet, then adjust your prompt until it's perfect.
The node will return a JSON string that looks like this: {{$6.result.choices.[0].message.content}}.
Quick Tip: JSON strings are the way we can tell one node about what the other has generated. This string contains your tweet:
“Benjamin Franklin invented an odometer-like device to measure coal wagons’ loads, which helped improve transportation efficiency in colonial America.”
(3) Connect Your X/Twitter Account
Find the Twitter Integration called ‘Create Post’.
Press Choose -> New Authorization in the settings.
Add your Client ID and Client Secret. You can do it by following the onscreen instructions. When you connect your X account, Latenode will remember your credentials.
After you activate the node, add the output data from the previous node. The tweet ChatGPT creates will automatically flow here. Try a test post to make sure everything's connected - you can always delete it from your account afterward.
3. Turn It On!
Once everything looks good, click "Deploy" in your Latenode dashboard.
That's it! Your automation is now live and will post tweets on your schedule.
Why You'll Love This Setup
This automation gives you back hours of your week while keeping your X feed fresh and engaging. It's like having a dedicated social media manager who works 24/7 without needing coffee breaks. Once it's running, you're free to focus on bigger things - maybe set up more automations for blog post announcements or engaging with your followers.
Give it a try and watch your Twitter presence grow on autopilot!
