Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Basin and Databricks integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Basin and Databricks (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Basin and Databricks

Basin + Databricks + Slack: When a new submission is received in Basin, it triggers a Databricks SQL query to analyze the data. The resulting insights are then sent to a designated Slack channel.

Databricks + Google Sheets + Basin: Data processed in Databricks is written to a Google Sheet. A new Basin form is then automatically triggered for review based on the updated spreadsheet data.
