Create a New Scenario to Connect Businessmap and Gmail
In the workspace, click the βCreate New Scenarioβ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node β a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Businessmap, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Businessmap or Gmail will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Businessmap or Gmail, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.
Add the Businessmap Node
Select the Businessmap node from the app selection panel on the right.

Configure the Businessmap
Click on the Businessmap node to configure it. You can modify the Businessmap URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.
Add the Gmail Node
Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Businessmap node, select Gmail from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Gmail.

Authenticate Gmail
Now, click the Gmail node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Gmail settings. Authentication allows you to use Gmail through Latenode.

Next, configure the nodes by filling in the required parameters according to your logic. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Businessmap, Gmail, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Businessmap and Gmail integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Businessmap and Gmail (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Businessmap + Slack + Gmail: When a card's status changes in Businessmap, a notification is sent to a specified Slack channel. Additionally, an email is sent to the card's assignee via Gmail.
Gmail + Businessmap + Google Calendar: When a new email is received in Gmail, a corresponding task is created in Businessmap. Subsequently, a follow-up meeting is scheduled in Google Calendar to discuss the task details.
