Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Clio, Google Groups, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Clio and Google Groups integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Clio and Google Groups (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Clio and Google Groups

Clio + Google Groups + Slack: When a new contact is added in Clio, they are automatically added to a specified Google Group. A message is then sent to a Slack channel notifying the team of the new group member.

Google Groups + Clio + Google Calendar: When a discussion starts (we can simulate this with a new member being added) in a Google Group, a note is created in Clio documenting the discussion. A task is then scheduled in Google Calendar to follow up on the discussion.
