Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Clio, Vapi, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Clio and Vapi integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Clio and Vapi (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Clio and Vapi
Clio + Vapi + Google Calendar: When a new calendar entry is created in Clio, Vapi creates an outbound phone call as a reminder before the event, and Google Calendar creates an event to reflect the reminder call.
Vapi + Clio + Slack: When a call is created via Vapi, this automation finds the relevant information in Clio, and sends a Slack message to a specified channel with details about the completed call, including client information.
