Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring ConvertAPI, Grist, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the ConvertAPI and Grist integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between ConvertAPI and Grist (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect ConvertAPI and Grist

ConvertAPI + Grist + Google Drive: When a file is converted using ConvertAPI, a new record containing the converted file's information is created in a Grist table. Subsequently, a backup copy of the converted file is saved to Google Drive for archiving.

Grist + ConvertAPI + Airtable: When new records are created or updated in a Grist table, ConvertAPI processes any associated files in these records. Links to the converted files are then stored in an Airtable base for easy access and management.
