Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Databricks and Basin integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Databricks and Basin (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Databricks and Basin

Databricks + Basin + Slack: When a Databricks job run completes, it can trigger a Basin form submission to indicate a need for action. Upon submission of this Basin form, a Slack message is sent to a designated channel, alerting the team to the situation.

Basin + Databricks + Google Sheets: When a new submission is received in Basin, it triggers a data processing job in Databricks. The results from Databricks are then saved to a Google Sheets spreadsheet.
